“Electronic Memory”
Wire Recorder

Manufactured by Webster-Chicago, Chicago, Illinois U.S.A. during the 1950’s. This type of spooled-wire recorder would allow the Private Eye to record his interviews, make reports available for transcribing, or other creative uses.

This is the Model 80 and luckily came with all the accessories as well as Directions and Circuit Schematics. The attractive case has a plastic handle and suggests that it’s “portable.”
