Sherman Detective Agency, Inc. This document is an early example of quality marketing material, published in 1917. This Private Eye shared his experiences as a strike-breaker and his expertise in protecting his client’s interests. This booklet allowed his message to reach other potential clients. Sherman’s point of view is clear in his preface: "The aim is to state, from a strict practical standpoint, what may be done to stop unrest in the industrial, social, and moral life of any organization."
